Are your treats suitable for puppies?
Our treats are suitable for all types of dogs and for all life stages. Generally, you can start giving treats to puppies around 8 to 12 weeks of age, when they are beginning to transition to solid foods. It is important to do so in moderation and choose treats that are appropriate for their age and size.
How should Sancho Pancho dog treats be stored after opening?
In case of purchasing our products in a bag with a label on it, keep the bag closed after opening, store in a cool dry place and consume within the period that is written on a bag.
In case of ordering our products in bulk, please transfer the treats from a kraft paper bag to a glass jar or container in a cool dry place. They do not need to be placed in a fridge.
What Sancho Pancho products do you recommend me try for the first time?
We generally recommend trying a variety of our air-dried snacks, given that your dog doesn’t have any specific allergies. Every dog is different, and in order to find out your pup’s favorite treats, we recommend ordering our products in bulk in minimum quantities of 50g per bag.
Our experience shows us that most dogs like the taste of air-dried rabbit bites, duck bites, 100% turkey or 100% pork and salmon skin chips.

How did the idea of using food waste come about?
The idea of using food waste emerged through a collaboration with a local restaurant owner, Édson Neves (Sekai Sushi Bar in Lisbon) who faced challenges due to changing COVID regulations. This sparked the innovative concept of repurposing fish waste into dog biscuits and later air-dried dog treats.
